About Me

I’m Rosalie van Mierlo, a passionate Transformational Coach and an experienced IB International Educator, specializing in Early Years education. Over the past 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of living in five different countries and raising my family bilingually. Through these experiences, I’ve gained a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities that come with an expat lifestyle.

As an expat myself, I know firsthand the complexities of adapting to new cultures, building meaningful relationships in diverse environments, and navigating the emotional journey of being far from home. I’ve experienced the highs and lows of making new friends, embracing different cultures, and the bittersweet process of saying goodbye and moving on to the next chapter.

I support individuals and families in transforming those challenges into opportunities for growth, connection, and success.

These personal experiences inform my work as a coach and counselor. I offer empathetic guidance to help others find balance and navigate the complexities of life. My expertise is rooted in education, where I’ve supported children with special educational needs in the Dutch education system in The Hague. Throughout my years overseas, I worked closely with young children as they took their first steps into IB education, providing guidance for the children and their parents and helping them navigate the challenges of adapting to an environment outside the home.

Along the way, I pursued certification as a coach and counselor, enhancing my ability to offer support in this area. Recently, I relocated back to The Hague to help our two young adults transition into student life, which marked the beginning of my coaching and counseling practice.

At present, my husband resides in Casablanca, Morocco, which means I divide my time between the Netherlands and Morocco. This offers me a unique perspective on balancing family, work, and cross-cultural challenges.
